What Tools Do I Need?Don't worry! If you don't fancy fitting the hood yourself you could always let us fit it, see details here.
In general, to fit a complete hood properly you will need the following tools: Phillips Screwdriver Flathead Screwdriver (to remove trim) 10 and 12 mm Socket Rivet Gun Drill and some Metal Bits (4-6mm should do) Someone to help you lift the hood frame off the car Large vocabulary of swear words Patience Half a day of time In addition you may find the following helpful: Pliers (probably) Sidecutters (probably) Black Duck Tape (to mend rain rail if needed) More swear words you hadn't thought of earlier Hood Fitting DVD (available on this site - this is highly recommended as it contains many tips and tricks not included in the written instructions) |
